It is my pleasure to welcome you to Mother of Divine Providence Catholic School. We honor our mission to “nurture the students” faith relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a Christ-centered educational community that prepares students to face the challenges of today’s rapidly changing society. We strive for academic excellence as we seek to integrate Gospel values into all areas of the school curriculum and school life. We develop within the student a faith that is living and active.”
At MDP, we are committed to preparing our students for achievement in all areas of life. We strive to provide an atmosphere of Christian community, academic excellence and respect for self and others that will enable our students to grow into their roles of responsible citizens and people of faith.
Each of our faculty are highly motivated to provide a solid foundation in academics while developing the creative potential of their students. Differentiated instruction, innovative methodology, problem-based interdisciplinary projects and effective integration of technology are the hallmarks of 21st century learning communities. As partners with parents in the education process, we share and incorporate these best practices in education. Our children deserve this support and collaboration. A dedicated Home and School Association (HASA) promotes these positive objectives. Guided by the Master Teacher, we aspire to educate and empower a new generation of faith filled leaders.
Welcome to our new partners in regionalization, the families of St. Teresa of Avila School. Our MDP families are delighted to join with you in creating a strong future for our children. We will collaborate to build a Catholic school that prepares students for the challenges of their future. Formed in the Catholic faith, they will grow to be leaders with character, expertise and vision.
The teachers of both Mother of Divine Providence School and St. Teresa of Avila School have shared professional development in Differentiated Instruction over the last several years. They have been working cooperatively to provide students access to learning through varied media and methods. The collaboration over Gold Seal lessons has brought success to students of both schools, resulting in exemplary Terra Nova scores for all.
As close neighbors, we are well-matched with common community activities, social venues, district services and family values. Our children are challenged by parents, teachers and administrators with high expectations for academic performance and Christian service. Our love for Jesus Christ and our response in faith is what unites us, above all.
We are eager to meet our partners in Catholic education for this region of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Please feel free to visit the King of Prussia site at any time, as you consider this regional school for your child’s continued growth in wisdom, age and grace. Provide feedback to the Implementation Teams, so that the new school is a true representation of the wonderful gifts of both communities. We are grateful for this partnership and all the goodness that will come from the union.
To our friends from Conshohocken Catholic School, we appreciate the relationships that have been fostered through our collaboration. We will continue to welcome your families to the new school in King of Prussia. God bless us all through a transition that promises to yield good fruit through our faithful service.
